Aim of the game
The aim of the game is to survive in your office for ten years. If you manage this, your reign will be assessed according to the wealth you accumulated. Since ancient Summer is an agricultural society, the most important factor there is the land and people - the main criteria in the end of your term will be number of acres per inhabitant and number of inhabitants starved to death under your reign. To make the game more challenging, you can try to unlock several achievements.

How to play
As an absolute monarch in Summer you can buy and sell land, plant land with seed, and give the seed to people to feed. A universal currency is grain measured in bushels. One bushel of grain is the smallest unit with which you can work.Game is divided into rounds, one round is one year of your term. In every year you will be informed on the current population status, crop yield in the last year, current price on one acre, and the status of the granary (indeed, your treasury). You will decide how many acres of land to buy and sell, how many to plant with grain seed and how many bushels to give to people to feed. Your servant will then execute all your orders, the grain will grow on fields and harvest will follow. Simple and easy, is not it?
To have it not-that-simple, you will have to face occassional plague which kills part of the population and rats, which will time from time run wild and eat some of your seed. And if too many people will starve, revolution will come and you will be thrown out of the throne.

- to plant two acres of land you need one bushel of grain
- to feed one inhabitant, you need 20 bushels of grain
- one inhabitant can plant 10 acres of land
