About
Do you want to improve your Morse coding skills? Or just to send messages in Morse code to your friends? Then Faster Than Morse
is the best application for you! And how it can help you?
- train Morse code skills. In the Race against time mode you can improve your Morse coding skills in three modes:
- guessing of letters
- guessing of Morse code
- listening to beeps - to morse code in audio
The application measures time which you need to translate 20 symbols, every mistake adds 10 "penalty" seconds.
In the end, the result is stored to the best scores - so as you may compare your performance with your friends' ones.
- quickly convert text to Morse code and back and via sharing send the result to another application, Facebook, or
e.g., as an SMS. The sharing is intelligent, so you can e.g.,:
- share a SMS with the application (from the SMS application),
- translate it to Morse code,
- and share back as SMS and send away.
- improve listening skills by reception a complete message. The application will "beep" some codegroups and you have to capture it as a text. Then
you will get a score according to your performance.
- show you which morse codes you know ... ehm, less well (you make mistakes in these) and - if you want - ask you for them more often
- it is possible to edit morse code. You probably will not do it, but it can come handy sometimes - e.g., for national alphaber characters.

If you train Morse code hearing, use headphones... especially if you are in public transport, since passengers around you usually complain about the
beeps.... :-).
